In the summer 2000 I entered the world of astronomy by starting using my first telescope; a 4,5" Newtonian telescope from Lotus which I got as a graduation gift. Under the following years I have gradually developed using larger and more advanced stuff, and I have realised that as in every other funny sport this is a hunt for the greatest and most expensive equipment :-) The heading above is in Swedish and means "The way to the stars goes through the gadgets...".
